Hackers Can Steal Data Through Gmail

For those of you who like to use the service’s instant messaging (IM) via Gmail, seemingly began to be careful. Therefore, it was reported that many services use of their login data stolen.
Initially the spammers will send messages to Gmail through Google Talk. In the message, Gtalk user, was told to open a video titled ViddyHo, through a link. After that, users of Google’s services, was ordered to enter their username and password.
But what happened instead of the video is shown, instead of a hoax message. Who turned out, was done so that the hacker can access Gmail users illegally, and certainly can be misused. Sophos security consultant reported 41 percent of users, fooled by the hoax.
Therefore, later Sophos urged users who had been the victim site to persuade but to deceive, to change the password on a site that has the same login details to your Gmail account. As quoted by TechCrunch, Thursday (5/3/2009).
“If the user never feels cheated, so be sure to change your Gmail password immediately, or if not the entire address book, including other information, will be quickly taken by the hacker? Said the Sophos
